A family farm. A home.
A meaningful part of the Southern Financials story.
Beyond the books.
Hidden Gem Farm is home to Kristin, her family, and the animals they care for every day. It is more than a place outside the office. It is part of the rhythm, purpose, and heart behind Southern Financials.
The profession fuels the passion.
The farm and the business are closely connected because each one supports the other. Southern Financials helps make the farm possible, and the farm makes the work more meaningful.
The same values, in a different setting.
Hidden Gem Farm offers a glimpse into the personal side of Southern Financials. It reflects the steadiness, responsibility, and heart that shape the way Kristin approaches both her business and her everyday life.
The values that guide Southern Financials — care, consistency, respect, and trust — also guide life at Hidden Gem Farm.
At the farm, every animal matters. Every responsibility matters. And every day is an opportunity to show up with patience, kindness, and commitment.
That same spirit carries back into the way Southern Financials serves clients, supports team members, and cares for what has been entrusted to us.
Meet the wild side of Southern Financials.
Hidden Gem Farm is home to a growing group of animals, each with their own story and place in the family. Some came for retirement, some came for a softer landing, and all bring their own personality to the farm to make this such a special place.
Luna & Val
The original residents of Hidden Gem Farm, Luna and Val are alpacas who came to the farm as rescues from Kansas (along with their brother Moe). They were the beginning of the farm’s rescue story and remain a special part of its heart.
Holly
Holly is a 28-year-old horse enjoying her retirement years at Hidden Gem Farm. She is living out this chapter surrounded by care, comfort, and plenty of room to enjoy farm life.
Axel
Axel is an 18-year-old off-the-track Thoroughbred who found his soft landing at Hidden Gem Farm. After years of carrying riders through lessons and shows, Axel now enjoys a slower pace with light trail rides and plenty of love.
The Chickens
The chickens are definitely not all in a row! Hidden Gem Farm welcomes rescue hens as space allows, and the flock is always changing. Currently, the farm is home to 20 hens.
Macho
Macho is the newest addition to Hidden Gem Farm. This young Highland steer needed a family home and found one here, where he is now part of the farm’s everyday rhythm.
